Weekend Links

I'm sure most of you will be spending this weekend recovering from the past two weeks of holiday celebrating. These weeks are always so fun spending time with friends and family, but personally I've missed sitting at home in my pajamas doing absolutely nothing. So I'm giving you a few weekend links to check out while you say good bye to the holiday season and hello to the new year!
  • You need to listen to Serial. If you only listen to one piece of advice from this little blog of mine it's that. Serial is a 12 episode podcast that researches the 1999 disappearance of Baltimore high school student Hae Min Lee. Her body was found six weeks later in a local park and her ex-boyfriend Adnan Syed was tried and convicted of murdering her. Sarah Koenig now goes back an researches the crime, interviewing people involved including Syed to determine for herself who really killed Hae. It's incredibly addicting and will send you on an emotional roller coast that you will make you question your own judgement and memory.
  • I haven't been to the movies in a couple of weeks but I'm dying to see Into the Woods. The cast is fantastic and the movie combines some of my favorite fairy tails from my youth. Make sure you check out the trailer here.
  • Is anyone else planning on getting back in shape after these past few weeks of calorie filled meals? The Undeniable Report has a 15 Minute Workout for those of you who want to start off small and build up your endurance!
  • This Kate Spade sale has been pretty fantastic because their sale section is an additional 25% off. Some of my favorites include this tortoise shell necklace, the 'Off We Go' clutch, this 'Pop Fizz Clink' Bangle
  • Bad reality television is my guilty pleasure. I can honestly watch anything that involves some type of competition show. Starting next week on January 4th the Celebrity Apprentice is back. Now let me make this clear: this is not quality television at all. They basically take a bunch of D-List celebrities and make them do challenges to raise money for charity and eventually Donald Trump (who is super gross) picks a winner. However, I can't get enough of this ridiculous television show. This year I'm really looking forward to watching one of my favorite Beverly Hills Housewives, Brandi Glanville, compete for the title along with other notables like Kevin Jonas and Kate Gosselin.
  • I'm planning on treating myself to a new bathing suit in motivation to get myself in shape for Saint Maarten. This Triangl Swimwear Poppy Bikini is high on my list. I also have my eyes on this Jetsetter Sweatshirt for the plane ride.
What are you loving this week?
xoxo

  3. I love seeing your weekend links! I have been searching for new bathing suits so I don't end up searching like crazy and getting something at the last minute like I do every other year! Happy New Year!
