Fall Goals

Cousins (and significant others) at Italian Fest 

         My first official weekend in September (I don't count Labor Day weekend) has been much different from my weekends in June, July and August. There are no more barbecues to attend or pools to lay in now that they are officially closed for fall. Definitely working to keep myself busy and out of a post-summer depression (I know you all love fall and your pumpkin spice lattes but I am a child of the summer and thrive off of the sun on my skin). 
       As mentioned before, yesterday I went to the Italian festival with my entire family. It's one of my favorite events of the year because it involves my other favorite thing besides shopping....eating. All of my cousins came this year which was fun. We are normally together often during the summer because school's out and theres more time to do things but once fall rolls around, sometimes it's hard to find a time to get together that works for everyone's schedule. 
       Even though I'm officially done with school and not going back to classes this September, I am still trying to have some "New Year Goals." My first goal on my list is to plan more family get-togethers, especially with my cousins. We talk almost every day but making sure we find time to get together and have game night will be my task at hand.
