TGIF!
I've got a new plan to keep my spending in control. I basically make an ongoing list of things I see that I want to purchase and then I can make a chart of how much that item is. This way I can add or remove items based on my budget and keep better track of my spending. This also makes me more accountable with my purchases allowing me to sit back and think before I buy, determining whether I can get a lot of use out of the items I want or if, at the end of the day, it's not worth the price.
Newly added to my list include two dresses and a skirt that would be great for work. In addition to being great work outfits, I could definitely see myself wearing the two dresses out to dinner with friends as well. The open toed booties I featured were found on Darcy's blog. I had been on the hunt for a similar pair and all I was finding were booties with sky high heels that just weren't reasonable for me. This pair has a reasonable heel height and I could wear them to work and outside of work. Finally, I have been quite vocal about my obsessed of Aerie's swim line this year. They have the prettiest of patterns and styles that offer the coverage I look for in a bikini. I can see myself investing in this colorful print suit above, perfect for lounging in the pool!
What are you loving this week?
Love that striped dress! My plan right not to help me stop spending so much money is to stop and cut myself off from buying any clothes or shoes or things I absolutely do not need right now. We'll see how well that goes lol. Your plan seems like a really good one!

I love that blue dress. If that would hit my waist I'd get it. It's so classic!
