Despite this weekend taking forever to get here, it sure did fly by! I really didn't do much and that was much welcomed after a long week. Sometimes it's really nice to have a laid back weekend without much on my plate, especially with spring right around the corner. It always feel like once the weather gets nicer I have a million plans and things to do. The quote above reminds me of summer because it feels like we just get more of all the good stuff!
Here is a quick weekend recap:
-Friday night I stayed in and caught up on some of my DVR shows including The Bachelor, which I can't wait to end because Juan Pablo is terrible but I have to follow through and see what happens. I honestly think he is the worst Bachelor in the series of the show, so skeezy.
- I spent Saturday afternoon with my Grandma. I brought lunch over and spent a couple hours hanging out. There is something about spending time with loved ones that gives me an extra boost of feel-good energy.
-Started doing some online shopping for Costa Rice! Shopping for tropical climates is so much more fun than shopping for sweaters...
-Saturday night I ordered dinner from my favorite pizza place who makes the most amazing buffalo chicken pizza. I seriously need to find a recipe on Pinterest to recreate it's deliciousness!
- I am looking forward to the Oscars tonight- the Superbowl of celebrity fashion! I am one of those weirdos who start watching the red carpet at 6pm and will DVR the award show so I don't miss anything. I'm so glad that Ellen Degeneres will be hosting because she knows how to work a crowd.
- Is anyone else as obsessed with Lupita N'yongo as I am? She just posted this photo of all the dresses she's been wearing this award season and she literally can rock every color of the rainbow. I'm already wondering what color she will wear tonight.... maybe gold?!

I think that Lupita is absolutely gorgeous! I can't wait to see what she will wear tonight. We don't get E! where I live, so I'm excited to see all of the outfits recapped tomorrow :)

I had a BORING weekend. I seriously had school work ALL weekend. I am not sure if I will be watching the Oscars tonight because I just have that much school work. But I look forward to the recap! :)
