Vermont Purchases

When I die, you can scatter my ashes in front of Kate Spade

      As you know I was in Vermont last weekend and was able to do some shopping at the Manchester Designer Outlets. I was pretty proud of myself because I didn't go overboard. I am currently saving my money to buy a Kate Spade Beau Bag and I'm working on being a smart shopper by not just buying things because they're on sale, despite the temptation. 

       But, just because I'm working on being a smart shopper doesn't mean I didn't pick up some great items to add to my ever growing wardrobe! I ended up scooping up a jeweled sweatshirt at J Crew which I loved so much that I wore it the next day to the top of the mountain. I think this is a great investment because it's dressy but casual for those day trips to different places. 

       I also scored this long black cardigan with emerald green trip at the Ralph Lauren Polo store. It's super warm and would be perfect with a pair of leggings on a cold day. For some reason I gravitated towards a lot of black items on this trip...not sure why, but you can never go wrong with the always flattering color. 

       Finally, I was able to grab some accessories, a polka dotted scarf from The Loft which I'm a little obsessed with, a necklace from J Crew and a Kate Spade wallet that I got on clearance. This was the first time in forever that I didn't walk into Kate Spade and buy jewelry! It must be a sign that I should return soon to score some next time I go. Overall, it was a good trip and all my friends got some really cute stuff too.
