Happy Sunday!
This was the first weekend it really felt like fall, the temperatures DROPPED on Friday night and we never got out of the 50's on Saturday (plus it was cold and rainy, yuck). I haven't been prepared for this cold front since all my fall/winter clothes are still in storage with the except of the few things I bought for fall this year. I actually put jeans on for the first time in months last Friday night, I typically swear off all pants until October but it just wasn't in the cards this year. If this cold weather keeps up I may be pulling out my fall storage sooner than expected!
Heres a quick weekend recap:
- Friday night I got dinner and drinks with friends. This past work week took forever to end and I really wanted to reward myself with a margarita!
- I went to both my younger cousin Abigail's field hockey game and my other cousin Davin's soccer game. I wasn't much of an athlete growing up (I have zero coordination skills) but I do enjoy cheering them on from the sidelines.
- It poured rain all day on Saturday so after the soccer game I ran a few errands and then ran home to change into sweatpants and catch up on my magazines. You know those nights where all you want to do is wrap yourself in a blanket and not leave the house? Well that was Saturday for me!
- Saturday night I did watch The Dallas Buyers Club on HBO and loved it. If you get a chance definitely take some time to check this movie out, it really brings home the message of how little our government was doing to help people with AIDS in the early years of the disease.
- Today I had to go to my friend Meg's to set up the Fast Passes for Disney World! I can't believe we'll be in the happiest place on Earth exactly 2 months from today. Everything is finally starting to fall into place now that everyone had purchased their park tickets.
- I'm on a strict no shopping diet for the next few weeks, or until I pay off my plane ticket I bought last week. It's so hard not to shop now that the weather is getting colder and I'm not sitting by the pool on weekends!! With all the beautiful fall arrivals being released it will be hard to stay strong!

What did you do this weekend?
How is the weather where you live?

I love that quote you chose for today! Disney World will be so much fun, it really is the happiest place on earth!

Rainy days and magazines are the best! Such a great use of a rainy day - and catching up on your tv shows or watching Friends reruns :)

You're so lucky temperatures have dropped! This was the hottest weekend of the summer & we felt like we needed to shower again after getting ready after showering! So bad!

I'm so jealous of your Disney trip! I'm on a no shopping ban. I've only cracked twice (but it was shoes from target for $20 and then I spent my J. Crew gift card, so it doesn't really count, right?)
