The Happiest Place on Earth

If you read my post last Friday you already know that my friends and I booked a spontaneous out of the blue trip to Disney World for this upcoming November. I'm super excited to plan another girls trip (since it was one of the items on my 25 Before 25 List) and this comes just in time because I will be spending my 25th birthday weekend in Florida, it doesn't get much better than that! It's going to be a short trip, 4 nights 5 days, just enough time to get our Disney fix without breaking the bank. We also plan on spending an entire day at Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure because we are all dying to check out the new addition to Happy Potter World.
Now I went to Disney World two summers ago with my cousins and aunt and we had so much fun but we were definitely very busy trying to hit up all the theme parks (and the water parks) in a week. This is definitely going to be a more laid back, budgeted trip because I know how expensive Disney can get. I'm just glad I still have 6 months to save before we leave. We will be spending two days at the Disney parks (with a hopper pass so we can jump from park to park) and one day at Universal. Even though I was there two years ago, I wanted to ask you guys if you had any tips or tricks for me. One of the benefits of having a blog is that I have direct contact with readers all across the US (and beyond!) and I love hearing all your opinions on different topics. I feel like everyone has their own "Disney advice" that they follow and I'm always looking for feedback that we can apply to our trip, so here are my questions for those of you that have been to Disney recently:
  1. Are there any rides/shows you highly suggest we do?
  2. Do you have any secret Disney Park/Universal tips or tricks I should know about?
  3. What were your favorite restaurants or other attractions.
  4. Since we will only have 2 days at the Disney World, how do you think we should allot our park time? Are there some parks we should spend more time in?
  5. Any budget tips for saving some cash?
Thanks in advance for all your insider scoop!
xoxo

  3. Girl. I could write a book on this subject. I have been to Disney more times than I can count and worked there for a year. Feel free to shoot me an email (babygotba@gmail.com) with any specific questions. In general I would say: plan early. If you want to eat at a table service restaurant make reservations in advance. Fast pass is your friend. I'm so excited for you!!
