Sunday Thoughts + A Weekend Recap

 Happy Sunday Friends!
I'm sure many of you will be spending this Sunday with Dad, it looks like it's going to be a beautiful day for celebrating! This weekend was pretty low-key for me which I'm not complaining about. I have a lot of expenses coming up (too many vacations booked but not enough money to pay for them all yet haha!) so I'm on a little spending freeze at the moment. This means I need to stay away from all things that cost money-- malls, restaurants and bars (the struggle is real).

Here is a quick weekend recap:
  • Saturday I did have to go to the mall for a bit to get my dad a Fathers Day gift (nothing like waiting till the last moment to buy something). So I had to break my spending freeze, which I think is okay since it was for my dad. You have no idea how hard it was to walk by the shoe section without buying anything for myself...sigh.
  • Saturday night I got caught up on my blogging, and wrote some posts for this week (yay for not procrastinating). I also pre-made my baked cinnamon french toast recipe for my dad for Father's Day.
  • Today we were up early to have breakfast and give my dad his presents from Misa and I. We will conclude breakfast by hopefully spending the rest of the day by the pool since yesterday was cloudy.
  • Tonight I'll be getting together with friends to watch the Game of Thrones finale! From what I heard it's going to be epic and as much as I don't want the season to end, I'm really looking forward to this extended finale!
My dad and I at his favorite place in the world, Saratoga Racetrack!

What are your Father's Day plans?
Do anything fun this weekend?
xoxo
