Day & Night

So most of you see my Weekly Outfit Recaps that I post every Saturday where I show off my outfit choices for the week. I'm pretty lucky that I work in an office where there really isn't a dress code. Jeans, sweatshirts and sneakers are a common sight at the office but I do try and dress up a little mainly because I love clothes so much and feel good when I look presentable and professional (but it's still so important to me that I show off my personality so I like to add some fun patterns or accessories to add some extra flair to every outfit I wear).
Lately while shopping I have found myself gravitating towards pieces that can easily move from "day to night" meaning they are clothing or accessories that I can rock at work or while going out on the weekends with friends. This way I know I'm getting my monies worth when I purchase something because I can get multiple uses out of it. I put together three versatile outfits that are work appropriate but also can work for various summer events:

Option 1
Zebra Skirt // Black Blouse // Heeled Sandals // Clutch // Sunglasses // Heartbeat Bracelet

(Side note: I'm seriously obsessing over this zebra skirt--- at night I would totally pair it with a crop top and some funky jewelry)

Option 2

Option 3

Striped Skirt // Sandals // Silk Blouse // Belt // Turtle Ring // Smile Bangle // Straw Bag

(I saw this skirt on Pinterest and fell in love... it will be in my closet by the end of summer).

What outfit do you own that goes from day to night?
xoxo

  1. I love option #2! I have a lot of shirts that can go from day to night. I just switch my dress pants out for a pair of skinny jeans or cute shorts!

  3. I couldn't agree more with that quote Alex! I also love to dress up a little everyday, even if it's just for class because it gives me that boost of confidence. I love those three outfits you've put together as well. That Kate Spade turtle ring is to die for :)
