End of August Pinspiration

I seriously cannot believe that it's already the end of August. This must be a sign that I'm getting old because I'm constantly talking about time moving too quickly, haha! Lately I feel like I've been so busy that I have been neglecting Pinterest. I typically love spending a weekend afternoon getting inspired by various pictures, fashion ideas, or recipes but I've been so busy lately that my pinning activity has been slacking. However, this weekend I found a little bit of time to not only catch up on the magazines that have been piling up around me but also get some quality pins in.

Here is my fall inspiration:

I'm loving this look for the beginning of fall when it's still warm enough to rock bare legs.

Cut-out booties are on my fall wish list!

How amazing does this macaroni and cheese chili look, think it might be one of my Sunday fall recipes!

Blazers + shorts combo = LOVE!

My favorite appetizer of all time is probably spinach and artichoke dip, however I've never made it from scratch. Think I'm going to try to find a recipe I can make in the crock pot.

Possibly a road trip to check out the upcoming fall foliage?

What's inspiring you lately?

Saturday mornings are for Pinterest, right? It's that perfect time to catch up on different articles you've been meaning to read and brainstorm ideas for spring time outfits while sitting in your pajamas watching bad television.

Saturday Pin-spiration

Hey Guys!
I'm still in Syracuse with my friends this weekend. We are trying to plan some fun adventures for the day despite the freezing temperatures. I thought I would leave you with some Saturday Pin-spiration to get you through this winter weather.

Lilacs are my favorite flower, I can't wait for spring because there are several that bloom in our neighborhood.

I've been a little obsessed with longer skirts for spring lately. These two pictures above are definitely outfits that I would like to recreate for work.

Dreaming of warm weather and sandy beaches....

I want one of these coordinate necklaces!
I would probably get one that matches one of my favorite places to visit, Cape May NJ.

Why cant this be my house?

Saturday Holiday Pin-spiration

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend, we are supposed to be getting a big storm tonight so I will be busy all day today finishing up my holiday shopping. Christmas is only a week and a half away and I've been busy pinning away some last minute holiday ideas.

Check out what I found!
This is one ornament I would definitely like to receieve. You buy a plain glass ornament and fill it with hot cocoa mix, marshmallows and peppermint. A fun gift for the chocolate lovers in your life!

We normally make french toast on Christmas morning but I love the idea of making a cinnamon bun tree!

Our holiday party the Jingle is next Friday and I'm still looking for an appetizer to bring. How fun is this present?! It's definitely a great twist from the traditional cheese platter!

A simple way to create a centerpiece... use empty tissue boxes! I have been going through so many tissue boxes with my cold this week, now I have a fun project to do with the empty containers!

My cousins and I are planning an elaborate awkward cousin photo for our parents... can't spoil anything yet but it will definitely be comparable to this photo!

What do you have planned for this weekend?
Are any of the rest of you getting a big snow storm tonight?

Thanksgiving Pin-spiration

I know most of us have been in Christmas mode for sometime now but I hate the idea of forgetting about Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is basically the opening day for the holiday season. There is always plenty of food, family and fun at our dinner table and when I think about it, I think it may be my favorite holiday. Today I will be sharing with you some of my Thanksgiving Pin-spiration... my mouth was literally watering while looking at recipes.

Corn kernels, candles and pumpkins make the perfect center piece for a dinner table. Although at my family's parties the center pieces are few and far between... replaced by bowls full of mashed potatoes and gravy!

Everyone discusses making Christmas cookies but how fun are these Thanksgiving treats?
They look super easy to make as well.

Turkey manicures?! YES!

Typically I shy away from anything healthy on Thanksgiving, its my day to my body weight in stuffing and pie but I could make an exception for this fun fruit platter. It blows my mind how creative some people are!

This is a fun dinner table idea, everyone can write down what they are thankful for and then share it with the table.

What are you Thanksgiving traditions?
Do you have a special recipe you make?
