TGIF Friends!

Is it just me or is the first week back to work after Thanksgiving the absolute worst? First of all I'm already in the Christmas spirit so all I can think about is eating goodies, buying presents and singing Christmas carols and then my boss has the nerve to expect me to actually do work these next few weeks, how dare he?! Luckily I'm going to get plenty of Christmas activities done this weekend including decorating our tree and doing a little Christmas shopping!

Here are some weekend reads for all of you:

• In keeping with the holiday theme, the Undeniable Report did a great article on holiday candle scents. Personally I can't get enough of Bath and Body Works 3-wick candles, especially the hot buttered rum and the pumpkin gingerbread!
• Did anyone else watch Peter Pan Live last night on NBC? As a child it was my favorite Disney movie, according to my parents we watched it so much that we wore out the VHS and had to buy another one! So it was no surprise that I jumped at the opportunity to get together with my girlfriends last night and watch Allison Williams take on the role of Peter Pan. • After seeing Ashley from History in High Heels show off this amazing 'blah blah blah' umbrella, it instantly made an appearance on my Christmas list! It definitely reflects my mood when I'm walking into the office on a rainy day!
• I can't get enough of ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas, and every night before I go to bed I've been tuning in to watch some of my favorite Christmas movies (Obviously the Christmas movie trifecta is The Santa Clause, Elf, and Christmas Vacation). • While Christmas shopping last Tuesday I ended up buying presents for myself too (typical me).  I had Gap Cash to spend so I ended up picking up these skinny jeans and I'm so glad I did because they are super comfortable. I'm already looking at buying another pair in a darker wash!
• I'm headed to NYC next week and as a tradition every year my mom and I make our way over to Rockefeller Plaza and see the tree. It's always super crowded but it's become a tradition for us to take a selfie in front of it. For those of you who missed Wednesday nights tree lighting ceremony you can catch the big reveal here!
• Last month I bought the 'I Am Very Busy' iPhone 5s phone case from Ban.do, but luckily for you techies they just released a variety of iPhone 6 cases which are all super cute.
