A couple weeks ago I took a ride to the Lee Massachusetts outlets to do some Christmas shopping. Per usual whenever I head out to buy presents for others, I end up coming back with gifts for myself as well: I have a one for you, two for me mentality which is not healthy. Anyways, the outlets ended up having really great deals despite it being pre-Black Friday and I bought a bunch of stuff for my dad and a few things for my aunts and uncles (pretend you didn't read that Aunt Marge). So after feeling accomplished by knocking a few people off my list, I decided to treat myself.
J Crew Factory had especially good deals, everything in the store was 40-60% off and you got an additional 20% off your entire purchase when you spent $125 dollars or more which isn't hard to do there. I ended up picking up these amazing loafers in the above picture. I am a huge fan of J Crew Factory store flats, they're super comfortable and bend with my food which prevents me from getting blisters so I knew that once they started releases new sets of loafers that I would probably love them just as much as the flats. Spoiler alert: they're super comfortable and now I have 2 other pairs on my Christmas list.
Since the shoes are pretty funky, I decided to keep the top half of me pretty neutral, choosing to pair the loafers with my favorite silk top from C Wonder (now on sale in a variety of colors!) and my knit Michael Kors bag that I scored on a previous outlet trip years ago. I really love the idea of making accessories the focal point of an outfit whether it be a eye-catching pair of shoes, swoon worthy bag or fabulous statement necklace. They can easily turn a simple outfit into a conversation piece and definitely add personality to your wardrobe.
