NYC Bound

TGIF Friends!

This morning I'm boarding a train and heading to New York City for the day to do a little shopping! Every year my mom and I normally take a bus trip down to the city the first Saturday of December but this year that trip got canceled so we decided to take the train down instead. New York is the perfect place to get some last minute Christmas shopping done and also buy a couple things for myself. We should be arriving at Penn Station around 9:30am and then we'll be off and running, trying to cram as many things into one day as possible. 

We have a few traditions including selfies in front of the Rockefeller Christmas tree and lunch at Clyde Frazier's Wine and Dine. Clyde is a famous New York Knick who opened up a restaurant down by the Jacob Javits Center. The food there is fantastic, if you ever go you have to try the baked mac and cheese, its absolute heaven. I'm also really looking forward to shopping in a few stores we don't have in upstate New York including C Wonder and Madewell. It will be a nice treat because normally I'm forced to shop their online stores instead. Most of all I'm looking forward to a fun day with my mom, we always love taking day-trips together and you can't beat a trip to NYC, especially during the holiday season!
