Happy Tasty Tuesday!
I have another yummy and easy recipe to share with you all today. But first, here is a question for all of you: how many of are a fan of breakfast for dinner? Personally I don't have time to make myself a nice breakfast in the morning before work (I cherish every moment in bed before I have to get up) so it's nice to have that comfort food for dinner instead. Quiche is a great light but filling dinner with plenty of flavor. The best part is that there are so many different ingredients you can use for quiches so each on can have a completely different flavor.
Ingredients:
- 1 refrigerated pie crust (I prefer Pillsbury)
- 5 large eggs
- 3/4 cup skim milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 bag of fresh spinach
- 4 ounces of swiss cheese shredded
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees and then fit piecrust into a 9 inch pie pan, crimping the edges.
- In a medium sized bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the spinach into the bottom of the pie pan on top of pie crust. Then pour egg mixture evenly over spinach.
- Put quiche in oven and bake for 15 minutes at 375. Then reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for another 35 minutes (or until crust is browning and eggs are set).
- Take quiche out and top with swiss cheese, put it back into the oven for another 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Enjoy!
xoxo
You make me wish that I hadn't eaten breakfast yet :)

I know most people seem to love the breakfast for dinner idea. I personally hate it. I don't know why...
ReplyDeleteThis looks delicious! I think breakfast food tastes best on Sunday, probably because I have more time to actually make it.
