Sunday Thoughts + A Weekend Recap

I cant believe today is already Sunday! Why do the weekends fly by while the weekdays seem to take forever to end?! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I had a good mixture of rest and relaxation while still getting out to spend time with friends. Also how perfect is this Sunday thought? It has been a theme to my life recently as I've gotten older and my relationships with people have shifted.

Heres a quick recap:

• Friday night was super busy. Earlier in the night I went to play trivia with my friend Nicole at my cousin Zach's med school. He was the emcee of the night and although we didn't win (damn you football category!), we did have a great time. Plus we had a witty team name so that was worth it.

• After trivia, we met a group out for drinks to celebrate my friend Marissa's birthday. It was nice to catch up with some people who I haven't seen in awhile. 
• After a late night on Friday, my Saturday was pretty low key, basically hanging out all day watching The Walking Dead marathon on AMC to prep for the return of the new season tonight. I've been so good this week, because I've been dying to get out shopping but I'm patiently waiting for a trip to the outlets next weekend!
• Today I will be doing some research for my blog posts this week and I'll be making a lasagna for dinner!
